First stage must have internet connection.
Second Stage by downloading the old version of cups file.
Once successfully downloaded and create a directory
sudo -i
mkdir /usr/bin/cups
chmod 755 /usr/bin/cups
Copy all files cups_for_TM-T81.tar.gz to: /usr/bin/cups

The next step is Download PPD cups files for Epson TM-T81 type Ubuntu 17.04

Step Six, install * .deb through Ubuntu Software Manager.
The Seventh Stage, adding a new printer through System Setting.

Add
Select Device

Forward (Waiting is searching)
If the seventh stage error message occurs:
Cups server error client-error-document-format-not-supported tm81 on Ubuntu 17
Then it can do a temporary replace the repository to the old one, as follows:
Sudo -i
Gedit /etc/apt/sources.list and add the last line:
Deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main
If successful then delete the last line again
Go to proceed to stage Seven and it's done.

Tahapan Lima Unduh file-file cups PPD untuk Epson TM-T81 tipe Ubuntu 17.04
Tm-ba-thermal-rastertotmt.ppd.gz
Tahapan Keenam, menginstalasi *.deb melalui Ubuntu Software Manager.
Tahapan Ketujuh, menambah printer baru melalui System Setting.

Jika Pada Tahapan ketujuh terjadi error message:

Maka dapat melakukan mengganti sementara repository ke yang lama, sebagai berikut:
sudo -i
gedit /etc/apt/sources.list lalu tambahkan paling baris terakhir:
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main
apt-get update
Install lsb with
apt-get install lsb
dpkg -i *.deb
Jika berhasil lalu hapus kembali baris terakhir
gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
apt-get update
Lanjutkan ke tahap Tujuh. Selesai.
Cara menghapus semua cups
apt-get remove cups
Cara menginstall kembali cups
apt-get install cups
